Rather than copy a film clip, then a transtion, then a film clip and a transition, can I copy a film clip and its corresponding transition I want to use all at the same time. In other words, copy 2 things at once.

Hi Bob
Not sure what you mean by copy a film clip.
Unless you mean copy to the library?????????
So no you cannot save the transition as well as the clip.
But if you want to use the same transition each time you insert a clip, then you can set this in File ¡V Preferences ¡V General tab ¡V Use default transition effect¡Xthen select the transition you need.
You can insert multiple clips to the timelines.
Also
From the library, if you double click a transition, it will insert to the first available space, saves using drag and drop.

If you mean what I think you mean - saving a sequence of videos joined together with transitions so that they can be re-used again later - just as if you had rendered them to become a new standalone video.
Yes! - However you would not be able to edit that sequence. You save as a VideoStudio Project file.
To insert that VideoStudio project file into the library, start a new project and import that VideoStudio as you would a normal video and simply drag it up into the library manager.
Remember though that a VideoStudio project file is simply a list of instructions and so you must keep all of the original material intact for it to work.

Welllll.... yes and no.
Here is the senerio. I have a very small clip of water. The clip gives you the impression you are below the water moving forward (like if you were viewing the motion thru a periscope.
I only have a short clip and I am attaching a longer song to the clip. Therefor, i need multiple instances of the short water clip. That is why I was asking about smooth transitions (from water clip1 to water clip2 etc).
and that is where Trevor help me with the cross over.
however, I was hoping i didnt have to copy the clip multiple times and then copy the crossover transition the same nr of times. I was hoping for every instance of copying the water clip, a crossover transition would accompany it.
Trevor gave me a work around by setting the default transition to Crossover. So that fixed that problem.
But thanks anyway!

Now, if I could only get my Title question resolved
