Hi,
I've used VS7 up until today, when I downloaded VS11 trial version. Will probably purchase the full version if it goes smoothly.
Anyway, this question applies to either version.
I've got some DV footage I want to upload to YouTube. I've read all about doing it at 320x240 to maintain quality since they don't have to then crush it down to 320x240 anyway with their own compression.
But how do I do nice title screens? If I'm importing an image I gather I just resample to 320x240 before importing.
But what about titles done within VS11? I find once my mpeg 320x240 is produced, the quality is highly degraded, especially for fine fonts. Surely VS11 can maintain that quality without me having to do my own titles in Paintshop etc, resampling and importing them?
While I'm here, does it make any difference doing 4:3 or 16:9 for YouTube?
Thanks for any help.
