Will not play project

I have just completed a project only about 3 mins long to get used to the program, capture was perfect so I created, text, transistions etc but when I press play it will only play a few short seconds of the first clip (tried holding shift and toggled between project and clip).

I also the tried the Share/Project Playback and still the same, so I thought I will save as a MPEG got to about 6% then just stopped with no warnings or saving the file just returned back to the program.

Normaly you would have to render a timeline so all of the "effects" are included, am I missing something as this does not also seem to be the case.

I have managed to find out what was causing the errors and it was the Audio/Auto Music using Quick Tracks as soon as I removed it from the timeline all was okay.

Has anybody else had these issues, if so I do not think I will use them again but they always worked well with Premier software (sorry about using that word).....

You may want to check the SmartSound website for a patch to be applied.

Thanks, I have sent them an email as the version (update) on there site is version 3.0.6.0. and I am showing version 3.0.8.0. as you can appreciate this is a bit confusing.

I use Smartsound quicktracks extensively with VideoStudio.
They are most definately compatible.

I contacted SmartSound and the issue has been resolved it was a conflict with Roxio Video Wave that uses QuickTracks and is part of the Roxio10 package see below for reply and the link in case anybody else needs it.

Version 3.0.8.0 is the version delivered with Roxio Video Wave. This version has causes a problem with Ulead Video Studio. We have a new version 3.0.9.0 that corrects this problem. You can download it from here:
