Burning a DVD from an image file

Post by epzcaw »

I have created an image file (ISO) from my project, but can't find any way of burning this to a DVD using ULEAD. Do I need another software package to do this?

Did you get the Ulead Disc Image recorder with your package mine was on the bonus disc (Video Studio 11 plus) as this appears to be able to do what you require, I have not used it yet as I use Roxio for ISO jobs.

Thank you

I hadn't actually looked at the bonus CD, but have now loaded Image recorder and it seems to be working.

Thank you very much for your help.

If you simply go to the "Start" menu in Windows under the Video Studio program group, there should be an entry called "VCD/DVD Disc Image recorder." Use that.

Even though I have several versions of DVD MovieFactory I use NERO to burn my images to disk. DVD MF 5+ is not as reliable. I burned a few coasters with it even though the exact same file creates perfect results every time with NERO.

I capture, edit and create my DVD compliant mpeg file with MSP 8. Author to DVD folders or ISO image with DVD MF 5+ and burn the folders or ISO files with NERO.

Very reliable process that way.
