WinDVD HD/BD gives black (or blank) screen

Win DVD will play most of my HD DVD's (300, matrix, king kong, more) but with transformers it will lock up 70% of the time at the menu. And the new License to Wed movie it won't even play that movie, it just gives a black screen but it boots up fine except for the black screen and no noise. Is there a new update to get because thats another thing when I try and use the update button or the solutions center it doesn't do anything. I have the Acer 5920G with Intel dual core, 2 gigs ram, the HDCP 8600M. Im sure Im not the only one with this problem. I heard that it happens with the HD DVD of Heros as well.
