Audio problem during transition

Post by faqvideo »

Let's say I put 2 clips together and applied transition. Then I added a music track and played the project back while adjusting original audio at the same time. It works the way it should except for a quick audio jump at the beginning of the second clip. The problem is very consistent, and if I have a hundred clips, it's hard to fix every clip manually.

What may be the problem?

If it is just in the Preview mode then I wouldn't consider I had a problem..yet. Rendering it out to a file first may reveal no problem. Preview mode is slapping it all together on the fly so it may only appear to have glitches in it.

What sort of transition are you applying?

The original audio...is this natural sound or is it people speaking?

when two video clips are joined together and you add a transition like "overlay" then the natural audio will overlay too; especially if the ausio hasn't been split from the video.

I've had similar problems once in a while. Splitting the audio has always solved the problem.
