Weird lines in capture window

Post by rwalker66 »

When I am capturing video in DVD MF 6 all these horizontal lines flash in the capture window and I can barely see what I'm capturing. What would cause these lines??? Once everything is captured it plays back fine with no lines on it, the lines only show up in the capture window. I don't have this problem using DVD MF 4. Is this a bug or something?

Since I have to get involved in discussions so that my log in doesnt get deleted, yours id the first post I will reply to. Sorry I cant help, but wanted you to know I have the same effect when I go to trim my video footage. The footage is ok when I add titles etc but once I attempt to trim those venetian blinds go up. I can burn the footage and it comes out fine, but its not good that I cant edit out bad footage.

Maybe try installing the latest version of directx 9.0c dated November 2007.
This update is known to correct problems.

Thanks for the suggestion. I updated direct x the venetian blinds are gone. Now I have a completely blank white screen. I will look over the forum posts to see if anyone else has had that. :~)

I would check your video card drivers & updates on your capture devices drivers.
I recommend making a restore point before updating drivers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I re-installed Dvd Movie factory and the venetian blinds are back. This is version 3.Is it a common problem with the older versions?
