Upgrading to VS11

Post by Vicki »

Hi all-
I've been thinking about upgrading from VS10+ to VS11, after the patch of course. I was wondering if they fixed a couple of the things that annoy me most of all. Could anyone tell me if ...

1. The transitions on either side no longer are deleted when you delete a clip?
2. And the biggie...you can delete a clip without having to disable ripple editing to prevent deleting the audio file beneath it?..... so that you don't have to reposition everything?
3. I think I read somewhere in the forum that you can now "scrub" audio in timeline view?

There's more of course, but reading the wish list and Steve's excellent preview posting, I don't believe they were addressed. These are the biggies to me right now.

Thanks!
Vicki
