Need help getting an animated hand to write with a quill.

That is helpfull. I mean, If I did it wrong, that does direct me to a solution. It is a very cool thing to add to such a personal video. I do want it to work, if not, my thoughts is maybe a video segment of an opening "invitation/card" with that writing to it, maybe an embossed rose on the card, etc.

Ok, steve, that link works.. Now, all you did was choma key it? Also, the second time your example write with the quill, I see a couple of blue specs as well. Not as bad as mine, though.

I think the easiest thing I can do is send you a copy of the Gif Animator UGA file and the various UFO frames. They should open up OK if extracted into the same directory - just tried it on one of my other computers.

Thanks Steve, got the files. Not going to spend a whole lot of time on this, even though it's a really cool technique, just, I gotta punt this one out the door. It will be used in future vids though.. Thanks again..

I was just going through the Video Tutorials and found that the handwriting can also be done WITHOUT PhotoImpact - all you need is GIF Animator. No hand holding a pen though - just the writing.
