Digital Jucie Swipes and Transitions

Post by rjmchugh »

I'm attempting to use transitions out of Digital Juice ETK as I would stock VS transitions, can someone tell me the best way to accomplish this?

Hey neighbor. I use DJ products (love em). I always render the DJ to an uncompressed avi file, and I try to match the properties to my VS project. I then simply insert the DJ file as I would any other video file. Does that answer your question or were you looking for something else?

Thanks for responding. I have not attempted to put the DJ video in the VS project yet. What I'm asking is does the DJ video have to be imported as a transition or do you just slap it between two clips? I notice that VS transition kind of overlap. Does the DJ video provide the same effect?

I treat it as a small piece of video

As Graham has stated, the DJ clip is not a transition. It is merely another video clip. If you want to use it as a transition then you would need to put it in another track so you can overlap it with the clips before and after it.
