problems to change from PI12SE to PI 12 full

As the PI 11 I have it even after updates and service packs still an buggy version I worked again with the stable XL ( PI 9 ).

To Upgrade I bought and Ulead Package called MovieStudio DVD Pro including MediaStudio Pro and Photo Impact 12 - but it was only PI 12 SE - i didn愒 see it - but thought it would be o.k.

So installed PI 12 SE - but see immediately that there are important ( for me important ) functions are missing. F. e. the corel knockout effect ( to free objects... or however it is called in english ). And the web optimizing.

Other missing extras like album or photo explorer - no one needs them really - I did not miss.

but because of the important functions I shoot a used PI 12 version from ebay. So I deinstalled the PI 12 SE and Installed PI 12 full.
Seem to be o.k. - as all the extras like album and cool 360 ( although I do not need them ) are included. But after starting it, the PI 12 SE splash screen appears again, and the important functions I mentioned above are still not available.

I am not a profi - as I deinstalled PI 11 I already deinstalled all registry data mentioning Ulead - but this is not possible anymore as I have several Ulead Progs now on my PC ( like older PI versions, like Menu Applet, Cool 3D, Movie Studio and so on....) and do not want to delete all. So what can I do??? I assume that as I have deinstalled the SE version, there are still some deadly registry datas left....

please help

added: in PI 12 full: unter help and info there is already the splash screen of PI 12 full and the correct serial which was from this full version - so what is wrong.

do I really have to install all - or is there any other mighty solution?

Maybe only to deinstall PI 12 and delete some spears - so that I can reinstall clean again?

Would be pleased for help. Cause have to do some work this week with it.

First where did you obtain your Ulead MovieStudio DVD Pro? I searched Ulead Website and Corel's Website, and could not find such a package. I've never read in the newsletters from Corel or Ulead, of them offering a package by that name.

That being said, considering the problems you are having, I would recommend at this point to do a complete, clean, and full uninstall/reinstall. You can find directions HERE

Note the instructions are for PhotoImpact 11, however just substitute your version number where applicable.

Think this package is especially for Germany:

you find it here for example: http://www.mk-zwei-shop.de/produkt.asp?pid=1695 - but I bought it normal in a shop or store ( not internet )

( why the picture will not be shown here???

O.k. maybe you are right - think I had no other chance. It is a pity, that ulead deinstallations are not more clean - as this problems shows.

think will do it end of the week - or has anyone another idea?

I deinstalled completely now by following the instructions you have linked.

Additionally I worked with regedit, and tried to delete all Ulead Photo Impact 12 entries - and there had been a lot.
Too much I think - but o.k. - regarding the price according to opportunities of the program, we can accept some disadvantages.

Now it runs - after deinstallation and reinstallation I have now a fully functional PI12 -

but nevertheless a pity, that you can have such problems by updating PI12SE to PI12full.
