Hi, i'm new to videosuite (using 11) and to this forum. Everything else so far i've managed to work out for myself but I can't work out how to:
1) remove (or at least change) the music that plays on the menu on the rendered DVD
2) have an image or clip for the DVD menu which is not part of the main feature (e.g. a montage/mix of clips).
Are both these things possible?
Hope so!! Thanks.

I am surprised you could not find this as I am afraid it is rather obvious. When you open the burning module (Share > Create Disc), and have inserted the video you want to burn into the module's 'timeline', and selected to create menus, you then click Next. The new screen which appears has two tabs on it. The first allows you to select a menu template, but there is also an Edit tab. When you select that, it allows you to customise the menu. There are very plain 'Background' and 'Background Music' buttons which you use to set your own.
Note that the Background button also allows a video to be used as background, instead of a still image. And note that you can have a maximum of only 30 seconds of background music. So if you want it to sound professional, you will need to edit your chosen music in a third party audio editing program to fit into 30 seconds with, say, a fade-out at the end.
