Not for much if you want it to play on a regular DVD player... http://www.videohelp.com/dvd#tech

I'm pretty sure you can't. MF is for disc authoring so it expects a valid VCD,SVCD or DVD standard size which can be adjusted to other standard sizes. I looked in DVD Workshop and there's no way to set a odd resolution so I doubt there's anyway to do it with MF. I don't eve think MF has a export video option does it? That would be required for the video to be of any value since it won't play on anything but a computer.

You can however do this in MSP and probably VS under certain conditions.

You could use MS Media Encoder to convert it to a WMV at odd sizes which is probably your best bet anyway since the video will only be playable on a computer.

Edit: The reason that option is visible is probably because it's a standard dialog box for every Ulead product.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 has a export video option in the ADD/EDIT MEDIA step.

Note: the following information provided is what's available using MSP but it should be the same for MF.

The "user defined" option becomes available depending on which codec or preset you use. For example if your saving as a mpeg and select the NTSC DVD on the compression tab you only have the choice between different standard NTSC DVD Resolutions (note:DVD video is mpeg-2). If you switch to just MPEG-2 you have a multitude of standard MPEG-2 selections under the presets including the DVD Standards. You still have to select from the drop down menu though.

If your saving as a AVI and select the DV codec you only get a choice of two resolutions (either full frame NTSC or PAL). On the other hand if you switch to a codec such as Divx (and many other AVI codecs) the user defined options become available.

So it real depends on what codec or preset/codec your using. What will be available for that codec depends entirely on what is the standard for that video type.

Again if it isn't a standard NTSC/PAL DVD size you won't be able to play it on standalone DVD player.
