VS10 sizing overlays question

Hi, I'm new so please be gentle.
Have just completed my first 3min music video and am pleased with the results..............................except, the main track shows the images in wide sreen with a black area top and bottom whereas the overlay tracks show them as full screen. This looks ok until I render to a .wma file when the overlaid images show over the top of the black areas making it look very messy. I woyld like to have all images playing within the same box.

Can anyone help me please?

With one of the overlay clips selected, right click on the image in the Preview Window. There you can change the size of your image.
