I recentely bought a USB adapter to allow me to play my xbox 360 on my laptop, i'm a poor student(UK) and therefore can't afford a TV + license. After spending a little while getting my head round the way this works i managed to get it to display.
The 360 is connected via the red, white and yellow cables (composite), to the adapter which is called 'EasyCAP USB 2.0 video adapter with audio".
The problem is, if my 360 is set to Pal-50, then it displays everything in colour, but many of the more recent games require it to be set to PAL-60. However, if i set it to Pal-60 it only displays in black and white and only if i set it to NTSC instead of PAL.
I believe i am using Videostudio 10. Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get it working in PAL-60?
Edit: If i've not mentioned anything useful, please do tell.

It was the software which came with the adapter i am using. If you could recommend a media player which would run it, then please go ahead.heinz-oz wrote:Why would you use VS to watch/play a game on your laptop? VS is an editor, not a media player
If not, is there any way i can get it to display Pal-60 in colour or some way to work around it?
