Requst from developer of plug-in for Ulead DVD MovieFactory

We can't correctly detects path of installed Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 in some cases. For example we always read

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Ulead Systems -> Ulead DVD MovieFactory -> 4.0 -> Installer -> Path

But, for exampe, in German version all sub-tree "4.0" is empty! There is no "Installer" items inside.
And there is another sub-tree:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Ulead Systems -> Ulead DVD FilmBrennerei -> 4.0 -> Installer -> Path

Why you give different names and especially for such important parameter as name of the program in the Registry which should be UNCHANGED for all localized versions of the program?

Please advice maxiamally correct way to learn where installed Ulead DVD MF 4.0 on the computer

I think it's not just in German version. When I check the website of Ulead Japan ( http://www.ulead.co.jp ), I see Ulead DVD MovieFactory is been advertised as Ulead DVD MovieWriter. Maybe you should be awared.

I'm developer of PicturesToExe and we've deleloped plug-in (support of our video format) for video output of our slide-shows to Ulead DVD MF.
