This one may turn out to be a sticky.
I am very technical and know well how to use Windows Explorer to move files around, But for this one, I probably need some expert advise.
I loaded VS11+ and (except for far too many crashes), it load the media files all over the place.
I have media file (music, Image, videos etc) in the Program Files/Ulead Systems/Ulead VideoStudio 11/ directories as well as a directory in My Documents that I save all my movies to. Some seem to be default and I cant locate them quite yet.
I would like to know which is the best directories to put everything, and more importantly, how do I get VideoStudio to go there when I click on one of the tabs (Ie Title, Audio etc).
I have used Library Manager to try to point to the directories where they are but the Manager does not let you specifiy a full directory path name.
On some of the files, it works after creating in Library Manager and some it does not.
So, if anyone could give me specific directory locations for Audio, Video, Images and Sound, and tell me how to Get VS to go there when you click on the directory name, I woould sure appreciate it.

The various media files are not (or should not be) loaded "all over the place" as you claim. They are loaded by default in either the obviously named "Audio", "Images", "Video" etc sub-folders of the Samples sub-folder of the Video Studio 11 folder in C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems...
Your working files and folders will all be placed in the Working Directory which, as you have discovered, is by default set up in the My Documents folder. To change its location, you need to go into File > Preferences > General and look down the bottom where you can specify another location. Note that you have to do this also in the burning module, first icon in the bottom left of the burning screen, as it shares that same default working folder with the main editing program but creates it separate for the burning process.
Apart from that, I am not sure what you mean. Video Studio does not lock itself to specific folders for specific types of files. If you right click in one of the video tracks for instance, and select 'Insert Video', it will normally take you to the Video sub-folder of the Samples sub-folder I mentioned above. But if you then go to one of the Audio tracks and right click and choose Insert Audio, it will still open at the Video track, and like most Windows programs you either navigate upwards by pressing the upward arrow to the right of the blank file name box or else use the Browse button. In other words, VS will, if left to its own devices, normally navigate to the last folder opened...
