I'm trying to create a simple music video using Video Studio 11. I have two video files shot from different angles. All I am trying to do is alternate between the two angles every 5 seconds. Is there an easy way to do this? I keep cutting the video file up every other 5 seconds using multi-trim but end up with 5 second takes of the same part of the song. I imagine I would have one un-cut video on track one, then drop these other angle shots in, but the problem I am having is lining up the lipsink on angle 2.
my plan is to import the MP3 of the finished audio and have the video play to the music. Would appreciate any help on this.
Music Video - Switch between camera angles

Yes. VS 11 Plus.
I think I may have found a work around, although a bit combersome. Basically Video clip 1 on track 1, drag video clip 2 to track 2, make sure both vids sound cue up to start at exact same time (show the Audio properties so I can match start point), then pull forward the starting line for video clip 2 to the point on timeline where I want to insert it. Once that's done, I delete the audio track from both vids once I determine they match the pre-recorded music track. It took about 2 hours, but later I found if I simply copy and paste from video 1 clip, drag onto track 2, and advance the start point of the copied clip to where I want it to follow on it went a bit faster. Still, real time consuming. I'd love to know if there is an easier way because I'd like to try this on another song.

Before you try your method on another song I would burn the video of your first production to an actual dvd and view it for analysis.
You mentioned MP3 as the audio, usually when performing videos/audio syncing programs prefer the wav uncompressed audio format. MP3 is compressed audio, depending on how the mp3 was constructed (vbr or cbr) it may be cumbersome to try and sync to a compressed audio track.
Only a suggestion. I would also be certain to burn a dvd and view it, sometimes the file will play correctly on the computer but when burnt to a dvd can run off with the audio sync.
