Bitrate , CBR / VBR

Hi,

i recently went for a Panasonic HDC-SD1 HD camera. I captured two test clips, one with the 9Mbit VBR setting and one with the 13Mbit CBR setting. I imported both clips in VS11+ . They both look good, so for the sake of recording space the 9 Mbit setting seems preferable. But in the end i want my recordings to play back on Blu-Ray players. Does anyone know of compatibility problems i have to consider?
