I'm preparing a DVD about my holidays on a foreigner country. I would like to use the shape of such a country as the shape of the frames that will appear on the DVD menu.
I have the shape of this country on gif format. I have tried to convert it to an UFO file using PhotoImpact 12, but it seems that's not enough to make it work as a frame on Ulead DVD Workshop 2.
I tried to figure out how to convert my chosen shape on a valid frame that DVD Workshop 2 will accept. But I don't see any straight way to do it, if it's even exists.
I realize that I don't have a clue about how "you tell objects" to be what I want them to be. A frame to show my clips on my DVD menu, as it's the case.
Can anyone explain me how to create this special frame? Please, in easy steps! I have no experience with PhotoImpact yet.
Thanks in advance.
(BTW, although maybe it has nothing to do, for further details, I will say that I'm using VideoStudio 11 to edit my video)
How to create my own frame shape for a DVD menu?
