I get the message Ulead has encountered a problem and needs to shut down ONLY when I click on Border/Shadow/Transparency. Everything else in Studio 10+ is perfect. I also have the same problem with VS8 by the way.
I have tried everything and been instructed by way of 5 technical help e-mails from Coral themselves, but nothing helps. I have deleted files as per instructions, downloaded patches, uninstalled, removed from the registry and reinstalled again.
PLEASE .............can somebody offer any help?

So, you've tried other filters/effects, and they work?ONLY when I click on Border/Shadow/Transparency.
What format are your source video files? Some of the more compressed formats are "difficult" to edit/process, but I don't know why that one particular effect would cause trouble...

Ulead needs to shut down on BORDER/SHADOW/TRANSPARENCY

I capture in DV mode set to Microsoft AVI files. When I do the final render I go for the PAL DVD saving as MPEG. Always successful. I have also played around with MPEG instead of AVI and always my border/shadow/transparency works 100%. I have enjoyed using the VS10+ for a very long time and before this the Video Studio 8. Only in the past 2 months has this problem occurred.
I can use every other item within the VS10+ - overlay, title, animation, and the templates which come with their own style of border/shadow are also fine.
