computer locks

Hi when I use the jog bar in VideoStudo 8 my computer locks up if I don't use it for editing ,and play the video and then pause and cut splitting the video in two then deleting every thing is fine ,what woul be the min needed to run this programe thanks

What format are your video files? (The more compressed the format, the more likely you are to have problems editing it or converting it.)

Hi I think it is av I put them on the computer via anolog recorder using the three wire yellow red white I don't use the programe much so I don't know much about video thanks for reply Ken

Right click one of the video files when you are in VS and select properties. Post the info back here.
