What codec do I need to play video from Ulead bonus cd?

Hello all!

I just received my boxed VS11+! LOVE IT!!! However, there is a bonus cd with some extra little images and misc stuff on it. There are also some introductory videos and such on there. When I try to play the videos using Windows Media player or Quick player neither play the clips.

Media player says it needs a codec, but I can't figure out which one it needs.

Any pointers?

Any hint as to which specific videos you are talking about...?

If you install VS11+ will it install the codecs too?

The Video files on the Bonus disc are using the Indeo Video 5.10 codec.

I know one folder of videos is called Introductory Videos. i can't remeber what the other one is called. ( I don't have the cd in front of me or in the laptop.)

I'll give the codecs mentioned a try.

Steve -- a question... I thought the Indeo codec always came as part of the VS package... Or is that another thing which does not work with Vista and so has been dropped from the VS 11 package?

I just checked it with one of my Vista machines and it appears that that the Indeo Video Codec is not supported. I was able to identify the codec from one of my XP machines.

Thanks. Yes, I certainly have it on my XP machine, but not on the Vista one...
