Problem with Smart Compositor

Post by NoNeedF0RaName »

I recently downloaded the extra template pack for the Smart Compositor. This added 12 new sets with two templates each. The one I'm trying to work with is T03_A.

About 8 seconds into it, there is paragraph of text that pops up towards the top left of the screen. The default text says, "Ulead Media Studio Pro is powerful, etc...." Obviously, I don't want it to say that in my finished product. However, the program is not letting me edit it.

When I got to the screen to the options screen to edit and go down to titles, there are three areas that I should be able to edit the text. The first one (title clip 0) is the text for the initial fly in at the beginning of the clip. I can edit this one without a problem. The next two (title clip 1 and title clip 2)don't allow me to do anything to them. I'm assuming one of these should be the area I need to edit in order to change that paragraph of text I mentioned before. I click on them and nothing happens. Another weird thing I noticed is that the time next to these two items says "18057:38:18.06" while every other time is between 00:00:1.00 and 00:00:9.00. That seems a little strange.

I've never had this problem with any other template. Is this a bug or am I don't something wrong?

You can always take the template into your timeline (in fact, this is what I always do). You can then open up the sub-timelines by successively clicking on the virtual clips. You will find you have 3-8 timelines, depending on the template. You can then easily see graphically how the whole thing is set up and where the particular title is, so that you can modify or delete it.
