Multiple versions of VS

Can someone please tell me if multiple versions of VS can coexist on the same pc? I have VS8 and want to install the trial version of VS11 without messing up my VS8 until I am convinced to upgrade to VS11.

Yes - I have versions 8, 9 and 10+ all installed and working on my PC.
