AVCHD
Hi,
I acquired recently a sony video camera recording with AVCHD format. I downloaded the 30 days trial version of VS11+ and like it is mentionned in previous messages, it doesn't seem to accept import.
What most of you seem to imply is that under the pretext of adding "new features", people would have to pay to get the initial bug fixed ?
Is there any offical date for fixing this issue ? VS11 was released month ago no ?
I would apreciate moderator comments on that cause if this is the case, i would like to know any other competitor product similar to VS supporting AVCHD...
This is just not acceptable to have to pay for a bug fix and I certainly don't want to invest in a product with this type of support, regardless how good it is...

Although VS11.5 has been announced there has been no mention of cost implications and/or service packs for VS11.
Remember that we are all users like yourself, we are not employed by Corel.

Hi,
I do appreciate that this forum is animated by users, but i also expect Corel people to monitor it.
Even though I have been using VS for years, i did not upgrade yet to V11+. I am reluctant to change but in case the fix doesn't come for free, i am looking for equivalent product supporting properly AVCHD.
Any ideas ?

Nope - This is a User to User Web Board as per the top right of this forum.happydaddy wrote:Hi,

Corel have been so kind to provide us with the web space free of charge so that we may communicate with each other and share thoughts ideas and experiences of our common hobby with each other.

Seems that this update may well be free to 11plus users. Good news I'd say.
Looking forward to seeing whats included

Yes, looks like it is free for owners of v11. I take back my earlier Corel bashing
, and will even go as far as to say "way to go Corel". Not only are you (apparently) fixing the problems, but you are throwing in some extras to boot.
