First of all, I would like to thank all of the contributors to this forum. Because of the posts and tutorials here, my first video (40min) was a great success at a party.
To finish it off, I would like to create a main DVD menu with two choices: Play Movie and Selected Scenes, like below. I am using VideoStudio 11 Plus, and I know (generally) how to create a DVD menu with chapters.
MAIN MENU
- Play Movie (immediate start, play all chapters to end)
- Selected Scenes (goes to Selected Scenes/Chapters sub-menu)
SELECTED SCENES/CHAPTERS MENU
- 1st Chapter
- 2nd Chapter
- etc.
To get the immediate start from Play Movie, it seems I would have to include a first title as a single chapter for the Play Movie button. Then, it seems, I would need a nearly identical second title with multiple chapters for the Selected Scenes menu. Is this correct, or is there a way to do this without duplicating the title. Obviously, I would like to avoid duplicating the title.
Also, I believe that if the first title has only one chapter, the Play Movie button will immediately play the movie (without requiring a sub-menu selection). Is that right?
