VS 11+ with Blu-ray ?

Post by DLA »

Being diverted to the Japanese Ulead website for the PhotoImpact X3 announcement, I stepped on an announcement about VS 11+ with Blu-Ray support that was announced on Oct 12. Is this an indication of the patch coming ?

If you have a BD Disc Burner then MF6+ with Patch#2 & the HD-DVD Burning pack can create a BDMV disk, this disk has menus, chapters, motion menus, background audio etc.

I don't know if that is included in the VS11.5+ package or not.
Check to see because the VS11.5+ package may only be able to create a BDAV disk which has no menus, just straight video.

What's nice about creating a BDMV disk with MF6+ & the HD-Burning pack is you can put both Mpeg2 & AVC on the BDMV disk. The AVC/H264 videos will not be re-encoded if they are avchd compliant.
