In VS11+, I can bring up the Make Movie Templates Manager, click on New, and then define a custom template. When I click OK, it goes back to the manager and I see it in the template list. But when I click Close and then bring up the Templates Manager again, my custom template is not there!
It also does not appear when trying to create a video in the Share tab. I made numerous templates like this in VS10. What is happening to them in VS11?
VS11 Movie Templates Disappear

That was a weird one. In the "Ulead Videostudio\11.0" folder down uder the "Application Data" folder, the file "MovieTem.dat" just happened to be set to read-only. I cleared that attribute and the feature started working.sjj1805 wrote:It works on my copy of VS11+ - perhaps it is a Windows XP security level issue, try logging on as an Administrator or using "Run As"
Strange, as I didn't see any other files in there that were write-protected...
