How do I change the Setup motion Menu Duration longer 30sec?

Post by jeklike »

Is there some reason we can't set the Motion Menu Duration for longer then 30 seconds?

I need it about 3 times as long for my project.

Sorry but 30 seconds is the maximum when using DVD MovieFactory.
For anything longer you need DVD Workshop 2.

I just found out that Workshop 2 does not supporth Vista. I found this out after I installed the trial version.

So I now have two choices. Take back Movie Factory, and look for another program, or hopefully you guys can help me somehow get that Motion Menu duation over 2 minutes? I looked around in Registry and I see a few things but they don't seem to make a difference. Also seen same thing in some of the INI files.

I'm really chasing my tail here today. I really like this program

If you use one of the Thumbnail menu's as opposed to the Smartscene ones then you have the option of changing the "start position" of the motion menu.
Not sure what you need the 90 seconds for, but maybe changing the position as above is what's really needed  .

Else, you'll have to create a separate 90 mpeg2 file and use it as your first play. For this click the use first clip as introductory video. Maybe your audience will prefer it that way too  ?
