differences between vs10plus & vs11plus
I am now using vs10 plus and want to upgrade to 11 plus. kly tell me beside hdv support what are the improvement in 11 plus( if I only want to work via my sony mini dv cam 40E)? Can 11plus captures & renders more good videos or renders final video more fast than vs10 plus? Also I have a confussion. As I heard 1hour avi video take apprx.65 gb space. But when I capture from my cam 1 hour avi video takes around 14 gb of space. why it so? Is it compresses the video automattically?

About the only other advantage to v11+ is the fact that you can cut clips on overlay tracks, which you can't do in v10+.
Uncompressed avi is about 65 gb per hour. DV-AVI is about 13 gb per hour.

thanx for responding. I just download the trial version of 11+. Really it works very good. But suddenly I am facing a problem. I am a Bengali Person and want to add text in "Bengali" language. In 10+ it was no problem. But in 11+ the bengali fonts not supporting. When I add a text (paste from any other software) the font changes to a piquilier font. Suppose I want to write "I am su1300" in bengali font, after pasting it in 11+ the font changes to another meaning. why that so? pl. help.

Have you tried using a graphics program to do your text/titles? You would save them as an image file, and insert that into VS. Text editors with video programs such as VS, are not the greatest, so if you own a good graphics program, like PI, or Corel Draw, PSP, try doing your text in them, that way VS should not mess with them.

In addition to Ron's advice take a look at this VERY long thread. The problem may be resolved by choosing a different keyboard layout.
