PI12 - Missing Effects

I've recently installed PI12 alongside PI8 & have problems with missing effects, viz. Creative/particle & Material/crystal & glass. As per the advice to a similar enquiry on the Board, I've
1. checked the Customize/Commands tab
2. checked all the individual Galleries in EasyPalette (& the Libraries, just in case!)
3. checked the online Corel support documentation, &
4. reinstalled the software twice, using the 2 individual (& legitimate) copies I own
without finding the missing effects.
As I'm getting tired of switching between 12 & 8 to use the 'missing' effects, I would be grateful for any assistance or suggestions, please, to correct the problem

I got it! Effect>Creative>Particles.

Have u installed the content pack?

Hi Marco - thanks for your reply. Ummmm - good chance I haven't, as I've never heard of it & can't find a reference to it in the program Help, Manual or during the program install. Where can I find it, please?

If got Vista (like me) it seems Gif Animator will not work...
Anyway, I don't need it ^_^

Thanks for the shortcut. I downloaded the software but it refuses to recognise my legitimate copy of PI12. I give up!! Will continue to switch between 12 & 8

Uhm... it's strange...
I bought the sw from the ulead website. Downloaded the main program, then downloaded the pack from the link above. No troubles.
mmm... have u installed the patch BEFORE the pack? Maybe it's that! If u got some time, try to uninstall ur PI12, then delete everything inside the Ulead folder in ur HD, then install it again, install the effects pack and THEN the patch.
