Is it possible to extract specific frames in .jpg format from the Video file?
If so, how to achieve using VS11? Please let me know.

Thanks

Yes, it is in the Manual. But essentially, in the Edit page, with the clip in the timeline in timeline view, expand the view out to frame by frame so you can easily identify the frame you want. Move the Pointer through the ruler above the timeline to a point above the frame you want. Make sure the clip is selected (highlighted). Then up in the centre right of screen (to the right of the bottom of the preview screen), you will see two lists of buttons. The top button in the right hand list is 'Save as Still image'. The image will be saved to wherever you have your working directory (File > Preferences > General).

To choose .jpg format, you have to previously set this in File > Preferences > Capture, the other choice being .bmp.
