I get this message....catastrophic failure .....when I try to open a previously saved Video Studio project..I also cannot load any video files that are part of the project....all the files can be played with Windows Media Player ....so the AVI's are OK...can anyone please help as I have edited this project (a wedding) and was almost finished

We can probably help but we need more info.
Read the post above with the title (Read First before psting) it important for us to know with more detail what's happened.
In your case we'll need some added information for e.g. if you deleted or moved any files in between saving the VSP and opening it again.
Perhaps if you have also recently installed any new programs or updated drivers.
