Sound Adjustments

Post by videonewbie »

I was wondering if there is a way to play music along with a video and have it at a lower volume, then at a certain point raise the volume of the music to a greater volume. An example is playing background music while someone is talking on a video at a lower level, then when that person stops talking to raise the background music while images or video are being displayed on the screen. Baiscally, using the same song at different volume levels within the video. Can anyone help? I'm using VideoStudio V8

That's easy -- insert the music you wish to use into the music track, and use the rubberbanding feature in the timeline to adjust the volume up or down as needed. Unless you mute the soundtrack of the video clip(s), they will be mixed together in the output file or disk.
