vhs capture problem

I'm capturing from my VCR that is connected to my computer...it was working fine....all of a sudden I get a message that says capture error...
and it referred to possible hard drive memory...but that's NOT the case...I'm only able to capture about 10 minutes at a time...I restart the capture and it
captures for 10 minutes and the error message comes up again...what might be causing this?

How do you connect to the PC?

I have a Hauppaugh TV LIVE...I did check to see if anyone had the same problem on the web board but ...I couldn't find an answer...I looked through my manual...but I couldn't find anything about it....
Are there any special settings for analog capture to DV

Did your version of VS come with the Hauppauge card? If not, it is generally our advice to use the capture software which came with your card. VS cannot be expected to work with every capture device available. The software that comes with your card is suitably modified by the maker of that card to work with their hardware.
