Runtime error PI10

is anyone else suddenly getting a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library runtime error message of "abnormal program termination" when attempting to load PI10 under Windows XP? My son suggests this is due to a recent Windows upgrade ... I did uninstall and reinstall PI but that didn't take care of it......any ideas?

Not that I have the answer to your problem but I run XP and install all security upgrades. My system does not show your symptoms.
