No templates when using Movie Wizard

Post by erwinquek »

I am using a retail copy of VideoStudio 11 (2 CDs). Installation is fine and I am able to import / open my video files.

When using Movie Wizard, after selecting the Video Files and clicking on next, I am presented the templates screen. Within it, shows Home Video however, there are no templates.

What is wrong, I am supposed to see some templates right? Did I missed out anything?

I am afraid that not many users appear to use the Wizard (I have never even experimented with it, and have been using various versions of VS for over 5 years!) So you might have to wait until someone who does know something about it comes on line...

Ken can you remember if the templates come with the e-mails sent out after registering the product?

Even then I thought there must be some basic templates.

I too have never used the wizard. I can see why it's needed but for me all the fun is tweaking my own edits.

:)

All the templates are part of the main installation process. If we are talking about the downloaded version of VS, then the extra templates are in the second of the three files the OP should have downloaded, namely the Extra Content one.

I have no idea whats wrong but can you provide me the link to download the "Extra Content" to test it out?

I think I have the same problem.

I downloaded the trial version of Video Studio 11 from http://www.ulead.com/vs/trial.htm

When I run the Movie Wizard and get to step 2 I have 'Home Movie' and 'Slide Show' as options in the 'Theme template' drop down but nothing appears in the list below (I assume this is where the templates are suposed to appear?).

Am I missing an additional download to make the templates appear and if so what is the relevant URL?
