Playing DVD from menu

On the main menu of my test DVD project I've got: (I edited the names)

"Select Chapter" - which links to the chapters in the video which can be played

"Play Slideshow" - which links to the slideshow file

and

A triangle - which plays the video first, followed by the slideshow (which is the order they were added in)




If I start at Chapter 1 of the video from the Select Chapter sub menu, it will play all Chapters in series and then return to the menu.

If I start the slideshow it will play the slideshow and return to the menu.

If I press the triangle it will play the entire video, followed by the entire slideshow, and then return to the main menu.



I understand that the triangle means 'play all'. What I would like to do is have a button to play the video in it's entirety, and then have it go back to the main menu without playing the slideshow. This way one could choose to play all of the video, select a chapter of the video to start at, or play the slideshow.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Clip playback:
Select whether to play the next clip or go back to the menu after playback ends. This option is disabled when Auto repeat when playback ends is selected.

For me, more or less an annoying default too. Maybe that's a wish list item. Set you preffered defaults.

I've checked my setting - the 'back to menu' is selected.

I think my problem is that the 'triangle' button seems to mean 'play all clips'.

Is there a way to set up a button on the main menu (or re assign the triangle) to mean 'play all chapters in clip 1' and then go back to the menu?

My DVD has clip #1 as a video with four chapters, and clip #2 as a photo slideshow.
