Can custom templates (officially, or unofficially) be created "by hand" (using a text editor, or third-party utility) to enable DMF6+ to make custom menus and layouts that go beyond what can be created using the customization tools within DMF6+ itself?
For example, the most common menu I like to do for discs I author consists of:
* a big chapter icon that's ~1/3 of the screen wide and ~2/3 of the screen high aligned with the left margin of the menu. This icon serves two purposes -- it identifies the disc's content, and serves as a link to the video's first chapter (IE, click here to watch the entire disc in its entirety from start to finish)
* 3 to 8 smaller icons in a grid with one or two columns occuping the right half (more or less) of the screen. These are the chapter entry points.
In DMF6+ parlance, I believe this would be consided to be a single-page chapter menu on a disc without a title menu.
Is there any way I could create my own layout templates implementing this general layout to use within DMF6+? Or failing that, does the actual purchased version have any chapter menu layout templates that are similar to that (big icon for chapter 1 on the left, 2 to 10 small icons for the remaining chapters in one or two columns on the right)?
Also, is there any way to define a chapter point, but have DMF6+ omit it from the menu itself (in other words, you can jump to it with the next/previous chapter buttons on the remote while playing the disc, but it's not shown as a chapter on the menu)?
