Invalid argument has occured........... please help someone

Hello, to all who read & try to help me figure this out. I have tried using the the tech persons for studio 10 plus, I have called them on the telephone, I have cleaned reinstalled the program, Anyways my problem is this I have studio 10 plus and for some reason everytime I go to the title section and select border/transpanrency/,shadow the program stalls ans then shuts down. I downloaded studio 11 trial version and get the same results, only in studio 11 the programs states invalid argument has occured. I can't figure out what is going on, the program use to work fine.

in between the time it worked fine and thr problems occuring. Was there something else you recently installed?

My suspicions are there is something you recently installed that is effecting VS and causing this problem
