Custom Menu Templates ???
Custom Menu Templates ???
I know I've done this in the past, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it again. If I create a custom menu template and want to save it so I can use it again on a future project, how do I do it? I've searched through all the menus and can't find anything obvious that allows me to do this. Please help! (I'm using MF 3.)

This depends upon the type of custom menu you have created. If you used PhotoImpact then it must be saved to the sub-directories containing your existing Menu Templates. I don't have version 3 but have the following:
Version 2:
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2\Template
Version 4 Disc Creator:
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4.0 Disc Creator\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4.0\Template
Version 5 (Standard):
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5\Content\Menu Template
Version 5+:
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 Plus\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5\Content\Menu Template
Version 6+:
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6\Content\Menu Template
MediaStudio 8 (DMF4 SE):
C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8.0\DVD Authoring\Template
If however you mean that you have altered an existing template from within DVD MovieFactory then after making these changes you will be prompted to save the template. It should then appear in your dropdown list under a new heading:

Thanks for your quick response. Actually it does not prompt me to save the template. I just did a little more "exploring" though and found the answer. After I customize a template, a button appears that's labeled "Add to Menu Template". I didn't notice it before. Frankly, I would have labled that button differently. Something like - "Save Template As".sjj1805 wrote:If however you mean that you have altered an existing template from within DVD MovieFactory then after making these changes you will be prompted to save the template.
