Can you help please. My dv avi is ok. After editing and transform to dvd format with Movie Factory 6, the final result was almost good. The image is perfect, the sound is good, but sometimes (several ones), for a split of second the movie seems do accelerate (jump)? Can you help. Anyone as a clue of what this can be?
All the best.
Jonas

Are you making a DVD or an AVCHD Disk.
In the sections of the video that appear to jump can you go a few frames before the problem spot(s). Then step advance each frame taking note of the progress of the video. If it's a similar issue I've come across when you step frame the problem spot appears to jump back to a previous frame. Not sure if your issue is the same as I've encountered or not. But step framing through the problem spots may give you an indication of what's going on.
My video appeared to jump ahead when actually it displays a previous frame in the sequence. Then when the next correct frame is displayed it's technically 2 frames ahead of the previous. The end result is jumpy or non-smooth playback. Funny that playing back the video on the computer doesn't appear to show this jumpiness, instead the video plays & eventually the player generates an error and shuts down playing the video.
Step frame through the problem spots, please post back, I'm curious what your results would be.
