Mouse pointer jumps from volume slider

Post by J1D2P3 »

VS v10.0, SP1, Vista pack.

I've captured video in DV-1 format from miniDV.

The resulting .avi file has sound when played in Windows Media Player but not when played in VS in edit mode.

In fact when I click the volume control and try to increase the volume by clicking on the sliding volume control the mouse pointer jumps away from the slider control.

It's trying to tell me something but i don't know what it is.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled with no change.

This all has worked in the past - not sure what has cahnged.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks,
Jim

It sounds like something you may have installed recently (between when it worked and when it didn;t)

The mouse curser jumping to me sounds like a mouse driver issue.
