HELP!!!

Post by sportswizdan »

Hi everyone,
I'm having a big problem here and I hope this can be done. I normally do my titling over a colored background. This time I have a motion background from a company that is 10 seconds in duration. My title will be alot longer than that but I cannot stretch out the 10 second clip in the timeline or change the duration. The clip is loopable. How do I accomplish this to get past the 10 seconds??? I can title longer than the 10 seconds but the motion background is gone after that. Please help. Thanks everyone, Dan

Hey,
I think I might have figured it out. The clips were loopable and in 10 second intervals, so if my title is going to last 40 seconds, I just bring (4) of the 10 second clips in the timeline and then do my titling. Is this the correct way? Thanks, Dan

If using VS 8 you can alter the playback speed of the clip in the timeline.
I do not know what quality will be like when streatching a 10 sec clip to 40.

Any audio will also be altered, sounding very slow.

From Edit highlight the clip and select 'Playback Speed' from the left panel.

Probably the best way..... If the clips don't match at the ends create a new video to whatever length you want using a crossfade between them.
