save problem-PSP X2

Hi,
I just installed PSP X2 (I uninstalled X1 first & rebooted) and after a few freezes all seems to be working ok. But I have a problem with the SAVE OR SAVE AS function with this new program, never had it with X1:

It takes forever to save even the smallest file size picture!

I can not figure out why?
Any ideas?
This is driving me crazy! It slows down my work so badly.

Don't have an answer, as, my specialty is video, however, update your personnel system info and someone will help you. It is needed to to further troubleshoot the problem.
