pciture show audio problems

i am pc iliterate and so this maybe most of the problem...but...i cannot add audio to a slide show. After about four days of trying i finally added audio straight from a cd and all seemed to be going well but when i burnt it to a dvd the audio was not there. Also is it possible to add a video into the slideshow because they were not there when i burnt it either (neither was the random selection between each slide)

First thing is that if you are trying to put your own music you have to download them on your computer as an MP3 File. After you have done this you will be able to add them to your slideshow.
