mute videos

Post by kolgy »

is there anyway to take out the original audio so there is no audio in a video and then export it? I took a video and it just has a lot of static sound so I would rather there be no sound.

Thanks

Yes you an use the fast export feature. The location of this varies from one version to another - which version are you using?

I would recommend to first match the project settings to the source video.
Then use the edit room to mute the audio & return back to the original timeline.
From the original timeline then Export Media Clips -> Fast Export Dvd Compliant. (After you edit the video in the edit room the "Fast Export" will be greyed out/not accessible).

Fast Export Dvd Compliant will smartrender the video portion IF the project properties equal the source videos properties.

Make sure you have installed Patch#2 to MF6
