Inserting a period of black into the timeline

I am new to VideoStudio and trying to convert myself from other programs. I cannot find how to insert a period of black (blank) into the timeline. Can anyone help please?

Drag a black color clip from the color library to the timeline, then adjust the length as needed.

Alternatively, you could just use the Overlay tracks (skipping the top Video track all together). Clips in the Overlay tracks can be positioned anywhere in the timeline.
