I have a Google maps clip (jpeg) on the timeline
I have a jpeg pictogram of a plane as an overlay that I want to move from A to B over the Google maps, with bends in its traject
Howdo?

Your trying to do a kind of animation.
I'm about to try this myself on a project and the only way I can think of doing it simply is to have a separate jpeg image for each stage of the planes trip and then use an transition in between each still.
If I had the patience I would use more stills and have no transitions in between and shorten the clip duration of each still for a pseudo animation effect.

You can do it with a simple line:
